Sorry for the rotten-feeling day. I recommend, especially if you already want a coffee chocolate stout, that you combine your ice cream and beer for a delicious stout float! It’s a glorious thing. Vanilla or chocolate ice cream.SIRPUDDLEDUCK:
I am upset you are not my next door neighbor… where we can enjoy our stout floats while we ponder how the hell Amy Ray got to be so amazing. If you ever move to Ohio… it better be so we can live close by! Now… here are the beers I have to choose from to go with my Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream..
1. Southern Tier Imperial Mokah Stout - Brewed with chocolate & coffee. Yum.
2. Stone Russian Imperial Stout - Typical delicious Imperial
3. Dogfish Head Chicory Stout - Brewed with chicory chips and coffee.
Oh yay! I *love* helping with beer selections. I also applaud your available selection. Let’s see - if it’s not too late, I’d say definitely leave the Dogfish Head as a stand-alone. I think the chicory and ice cream would be weird. I’ve never tried the Southern Tier Imperial Mokah, but that would be my first choice here, I think. The mocha-ness might be weird with the peanut butter, but I say go for it! And let me know how it comes out :)
